Daily Announcements are read to the entire student body at the beginning of 2nd period or students watch their classmates on Squawk Box (live video announcements). Staff submit reminders regarding field trips and club meetings. Students are notified through the daily announcements when athletic rosters are posted for additional sign-ups, when rosters are closing, game schedules and bus dismissals for away games.
Parents are sent the daily announcements daily by utilizing the email addresses in Infinite Campus in an effort to keep our LMS community updated on school and district events.
Squawk Box Video Announcements are viewed by all students from their Smart Boards in their classrooms every Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Squawk Box Video Announcements are also played on the kiosk in the Student Commons daily. Squawk Box video announcements are created by LMS students under the label of Squawk Box Productions.
